Track player

Master player

Master player is located at the top of file page. It is controlled by blue play/pause/stop buttons. It plays master MP3 with reverb applied. On the contrary, multitrack and single track players do not have reverb applied and sound dry.

Master player mouse actions:

  • Click - play from position
  • Double click - pause

Parts tab (multitrack player)

Parts tab (multitrack player) allows you to change instrument volume and panning live and solo any combination of tracks. It has to load all tracks into memory until you can start playing. This means that you have to wait until all tracks are loaded, which can be long on slow internet speeds and can take lots of traffic. When total time of tracks to be loaded is significant (e.g. more than 150 minutes), browser can crash trying to load them.

Here is what you can do to improve multitrack load speeds and prevent browser from crashing:

  • Render only the first minute (or less/more) of your file. To access this setting, you will have to switch to Advanced or Expert mode. Do not forget to switch to full length after you finish using multitrack player to get full master MP3.
  • If you have a lot of RAM on your computer, Chrome browser will be able to load large amount of tracks if you switch Chrome into "--no-sandbox" mode. Please search in the internet how to do that because procedure can change.
  • Do not use multitrack player ("Parts" tab). Use solo track player instead ("Solo parts" tab). Solo track player allows you to listen to each individual track but does not allow you to mix tracks and change their volume/pan live.

Multitrack player mouse actions:

  • Click - play all tracks from position
  • Double click - pause
  • Right click - toggle solo for current track

Solo parts tab (single track player)

Solo parts tab allows you to listen to each individual track. It does not have to load all tracks and thus can start playing right after the page load.

Single track player mouse actions:

  • Click - play current track from position
  • Double click - pause
  • Right click - play master track from position
